Houdini helps you remove yourself from data broker and people-search sites — without handing your details to yet another company.

Type your name, email and phone once. On a broker's opt-out page, click Houdini and it fills the form for you. You check the fields and click submit yourself.

How it works
• Known brokers (PeopleConnect: Instant Checkmate, TruthFinder; Spokeo) use tested recipes that fill exactly the right fields and list the steps you still do by hand.
• Other opt-out pages: Houdini reads each field's label and fills only the obvious ones (name, email, phone), outlining each in gold so you can check it. It asks you to confirm before filling on a site it doesn't know.

Privacy by design
• No server, no account, no analytics. Houdini makes no network requests.
• Your details stay in browser session memory and are erased when you close the browser.
• Minimal permissions: it can touch only the tab you're on, and only when you click it.
• Never clicks, submits, or logs in for you. Logins, CAPTCHAs, birthdates and email confirmations stay with you.
• Skips password, search, hidden and locked fields, people-search forms, and anything it isn't sure about. Never overwrites what you've typed.
