Feed Tamer: Hide Shorts, Ads & Distractions by Harsh Gupta

Feed Tamer lets you decide what shows up on the sites you use every day. Hide the parts that pull you away from what you came to do, and keep the rest.

WHAT YOU CAN HIDE

YouTube: Shorts, home recommendations, the Up next sidebar, comments, and end cards.
Reddit: promoted posts, the home feed, Popular and All links, and the right sidebar.
X (Twitter): promoted posts, trends, who to follow, the right column, and Premium upsells.
Instagram: Reels and Explore.
Facebook: Reels, Stories, the right sidebar, and Marketplace and Watch links.
LinkedIn: LinkedIn News, the right sidebar, the messaging pop-up, and the home feed.

KEYWORD FILTER

Add a word, topic or name once and Feed Tamer hides any post whose text matches it, on every supported site. Matches are caught as you scroll, so new posts are filtered too.

SIMPLE BY DESIGN

• One popup with a tab for each site
• Every section has its own switch
• A master switch pauses everything instantly
• Changes apply right away, with no page reload
• A counter shows how many posts have been hidden

PRIVATE

Feed Tamer runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect, send or sell any data, and your settings are stored only on your device. It only runs on the six sites listed above.

NOTES

Websites change their layouts often, so a toggle may occasionally stop matching until the extension is updated. If something stops working, please report it in the reviews or the support link.
