I was a strong user of SAGE, only problem detected is time to update the feeds.

What do you mean by "time to update the feeds"? You can adjust feed update frequency individually by feed if you right-click the feed in the feed tree, select Properties and then adjust the "Scan interval" setting. With that a feed can update even every minute. Note that it is not recommended to have many feeds with very short scan interval though.
