- Rated 5 out of 5by Joss, 7 years agoGreat plug-in. Everything is thought out.
There is one wish. You can make news to be divided into categories, as on the site.

Thank you! - Rated 5 out of 5by Nolff, 7 years agoSince the Sage RSS Add-on is now dead, this is the closest thing to it... Possibly even better.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13753803, 8 years agoInstalled my feeds, looks good.
How do I know if a feed’s been updated?
I’ve set notifications & sounds, but if I miss those, how do I check? - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13550846, 8 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13729572, 8 years agoI like it. Former Bamboo user, this is a better solution.
***Bug Report! I am unable to Export my subscriptions. I could not find a place to file a bug report, so here it is.
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."
I really want to use this on other systems. I don't want go to the effort of recreating all of my stuff over again.
thanks!

I suppose you are using Linux? Firefox on Linux has a bug that prevents "download a file" functionality from working. As a workaround, Feedbro just opens the feed subscriptions data in a separate tab. You need to right-click the area and select "Save As" to save your subscriptions to the disk.
PS. Our official support email is feedbro.reader@gmail.com - all issue reports and feature requests are welcome there. - Rated 5 out of 5by Siem, 8 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Ailothaen, 8 years agoGreat extension we have there! That reader is very easy to use, but we have a huge customisation potential if we look into the settings. Especially with the Rules panel.
Just a suggestion : It would be nice if we had the ability to create our own themes (I mean, import and export our own CSS sheets).
Also, I think there should be an option to make the Feedbro icon "uncolorized". Most of the buttons in Firefox are in shades of grey by default, and the icon of the extension adds some visual "noise", making sometimes hard to see the number of updates with a fast glance :/ - Rated 5 out of 5by Tor K., 8 years agoThis addon is awesome. Old Bamboo user, I really loved its Popup option, not the default "Tab" one which was the standard and only type for Feedbro. Nonetheless, I made do.
Thanks anyways, best feedreader for FF Quantum :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Tomek(DemoNCS), 8 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Osvaldo3, 8 years agoGreetings. The criticisms are good because they help you understand what you should improve, but I personally do not agree with some that have been made to this addon. Currently this is one of the best feed readers. I have previously used Bamboo feed Reader, very good as well, but not compatible with Quantum.
And that the developer provides support for Quantum, that says a lot about it. This addon is among the best feed readers currently.
JEJEJE, now.
It would be possible to add to future versions the possibility of limiting the amount of feed that is loaded at the same time, example, one at a time, or two at a time, or all at the same time?Developer response
posted 8 years agoThank you for your kind words. The feature you described (number of concurrent update threads) is now available in Feedbro 3.36.3. - Rated 5 out of 5by George Thomas, 8 years agoThanks for the best RSS reader on the web! You guys rock
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 5605776, 8 years agoWell done, this extension is user friendly, easy to use and import OPML, also easy to customize. I like the preset ways to view feeds.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Dimonius, 8 years ago1) When enable view mode 2 (just headers) and set "Mark article as read" as "when bottom article arrived" header not change unread style to read one, before reload feed. Just change counter into feeds tree.
2) Also add mark article as read "when article is open / shown" from view mode 2.
Thanks - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefcx user 11712425, 8 years agoBug:
Cannot add reddit RSS feeds, for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/news/.rss
See: https://www.reddit.com/wiki/rss
Some feature requests:
- Option to turn of keyboard shortcuts.
- Ability to undelete an article within either X second or before changing to a new category (folder).
- A choice of icons for the toolbar button, for example the default RSS icon in Firefox to fit inline with the other toolbar buttons.
- Improve view mode 2 by adding a small thumbnail of the associated article image to the left of each article in the list (a blank space if no thumbnail to keep the list aligned).Developer response
posted 8 years agoReddit RSS feeds don't work if you have "Tracking Protection" set as "Always" in about:preferences#privacy - this is not a bug, it's a Firefox feature.
WebExtension icon is static and cannot be modified. Any particular reason why you'd like to turn off keyboard shortcuts? We'll consider the undelete option.
Sounds like view mode 5 could be pretty close to what you described? - Rated 5 out of 5by jgdavis, 8 years ago
