The Figma PR Extension enhances GitHub pull requests by converting Figma design links into rich design specifications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data We Collect

Figma API Token: The only data we collect is your Figma API token, which you voluntarily provide to authenticate with Figma's services.

How We Use Your Data

• Authentication: Your Figma API token is used exclusively to make authorized requests to Figma's API
• Functionality: The token allows us to fetch design metadata and generate preview images for your Figma files
• Storage: The token is stored locally in your browser's secure storage system

Data Storage

• Location: Your Figma API token is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's sync storage
• Security: We use the browser's built-in secure storage mechanisms
• Retention: Data persists until you remove it through the extension popup or uninstall the extension

Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties except:

• Figma Inc.: Your API token is sent to Figma's official API endpoints to access your design files (this is how Figma authentication works)

Your Rights

• Access: View your stored API token through the extension popup
• Modify: Change your API token at any time through the extension popup
• Delete: Remove all data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the token in settings

Third-Party Services

This extension interacts with:

• GitHub.com: To read and modify pull request descriptions (only when you trigger the extension)
• Figma API: To fetch design data using your provided API token
• Figma's Privacy Policy: https://www.figma.com/privacy/

Changes to This Policy
