The only data stored by FilterVideo are your extension preferences:
- Extension enabled/disabled state

- Filter type (blur/opacity)
- Filter intensity level
- Filter on detection preference
These settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and are never transmitted externally.
## Permissions Usage
The extension requires certain permissions to function:
- tabs: To detect and filter videos in your active tab
- webNavigation: To maintain filter state during navigation
- storage: To save your preferences locally
- alarms: To maintain extension functionality during long sessions
## Content Script
- Content script runs on all pages to handle supported platforms (video detection) and non-supported platforms (iframe detection as a fallback)
## Third-Party Access
- We do not collect or share any data with anyone
- All extension functionality occurs locally in your browser
