Wish it would just highlight the items and let you scroll through the page on your own looking at the highlighted items. when you clidk on on of the selections the page does scroll to the selected item - but may be under the items to select from - so when you try to scroll to see the item the highlighting goes away as well as the selection dropdown.

- Rated 3 out of 5by PeaceByJesus.net, 2 years agoBetter than the default ctrl+f search since not only do you just have to click on an icon to search but it shows all instances of the search term in the page at once, and clicking on one instance takes you to its location in the page.
However, with this extension, its search bar is no longer visible once you go to the first word to copy or change it (even though at first it shows all occurrences), or go to a different tab. Thus you need to open it again to find the next occurrence to copy or change it. It should just stay visible, at least an option. I am using a desktop.
What is needed as an option is a find bar that will stay open in all pages, and keeping the search term if desired. This has been missing since FF 25 and no extensions seem able to provide it. Which means that if you are search for the same across all pages then even if you press F3 again, the search box does not show up (with the default this is spotty). And though it may search the last term, when it does not show results then you need to make the search bar visible to make sure it is there.
As it is, AFAIK there is still a bug in the default FF search whereby hitting F3 for each page does not always result in the search bar becoming visible again in subsequent tabs, though it will find the search term.
Also, when editing a Blogger.com page, nether one searches the whole page, meaning you need to scroll for a complete search, even though all the page is loaded.
Google "Keep Find Bar Open in All Tabs" to read the protests. - Rated 5 out of 5by WireWarxYZ, 2 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Fredisland, 3 years agoA great extension. I will give 5 stars when it(s possible to keep on top the seach field to memorize the word to search, and to search automatically in the page each time the page is modified. Thank you :)

- Rated 4 out of 5by Todd Schmidt, 4 years agoNice extension. Highlight word on page and right click to select the extension from menu, would be very useful. Constantly highlighting, ctrl-c/right click - copy, ctrl-f, ctrl-v to use the browser internal find. The preview pane is more useful than i was expecting. nice feature! really helps to get to the context you're seeking. I've used the Context Search addon for years. Any way of putting a string into their search url which would pull up your extension?

This seems difficult due to the restrictions of Web Extentions API. Sorry. - Rated 5 out of 5by Bout's Morgan, 5 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Neal, 5 years agoIs it possible to introduce a search button? "Search as you type" is a bit annoying. And the stroke color of the preview box (curently black&red) is also a bit tinense.
Anyway, thank u for this great plugin. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14437346, 5 years agoSeems to work fine but the preview image doesn't really help with finding text on the page. I wish it clearly marked on the page where the image preview is.
