Entire page translate works only with auto-detection and if site for ex in English but contains content in a different language (linkedin with a job description on Spanish) you can't trigger translation by yourself, you still need to copy text to different place manually.

- Rated 2 out of 5by bigdoggie, a year agoI support Mozilla, however the translate feature is waaaay behind Google Chrome. In addition it supports a fraction of the languages Google supports. ...So I use Google Chrome exclusively when traveling.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14148709, a year agoI like the offline translation, allows me to translate private pages (for example shopping carts). The mediocre score is because I cannot fix a destination language, it always picks the browser's default.
I know English and Spanish, so translating German to English is much better than German to Spanish. Also, the Spanish translation breaks many sites. - Rated 5 out of 5by Tianxing Yang, a year ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by codematters, a year agoThe lack of languages like Arabic and Chinese severely limits the extension since billions of people use those languages. The languages it does translate are almost all Western languages, excluding the global south completely. Enabling understanding between the West and the Global South should have been a top priority from the start.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14066206, a year agoAucun intérêt, car ne détecte pas la langue à traduire. Il faut rentrer manuellement le nom de la langue pour que le traducteur sache de quelle langue il s'agit avant de la traduire.
Indépendamment de ce handicap, les traductions sont correctes. - Rated 5 out of 5by Jason Robinson, a year ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by kiarie404, a year agoI love the idea of locally translating languages. It means I can do things while offline.
However this add-on does not work on pc. It crashes. So far I have not managed to translate a single sentence.
Moreover, it does not have 'translate page' feature. You have to manually copy text and paste it in a pop-up text-input.
Local translation is great, I would love to see this add-on work. Keep it up guys, you can do this! 👍🏽 - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14157867, a year agoO ícone de tradução não aparece em todos os sites. Quando isso acontece tenho que abrir o site no Chrome, por favor ajeite isso. E coloquem tradução do idioma Japonês.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Mr_Spade, a year agoThere is no Chinese translation support, which is the most unfortunate point.
Regarding localized translations, my personal opinion is that Firefox can appropriately give up its support for perfect privacy protection in the area of web page translations. Users like me may not care that the translation engine knows what they are browsing, as long as Firefox can ensure that the captured content is only used for translating and improving translations.
It might be useful to ask for permission to remotely transfer web content in order to support more languages. For users who do not agree, the current localized translations will continue to be used. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18198389, a year ago
