- Rated 5 out of 5by 2muchcoffeeman, 7 years agoI've used FS for years, and have the Pro license. Overall, it's the most capable, stable, feature-rich screen-cap utility I've found. Especially helpful is the ability to re-open annotated captures to continue to modify annotations.
The utility is continually updated, and the dev seems more responsive than typically is the case with web extensions.
The export functionality to One Note is a big deal for me. I live my work day in One Note.
Complaints? Oh, a couple, but they're not dealbreakers. I wish someone would break the logjam with Microsoft so FS can be made available on Edge. The resolution of my monitor (3000x2000) renders the menu buttons of the FS editor very tiny, and menu text is super small (overall monitor baseline scale is already set to 200%). And I wish it were possible to draw arrows on screen-caps without the text box always automatically coming along for the ride. Better would be the ability to choose the additional markup elements in an additive, not subtractive, way.
And then, a strange behavior: Whenever I select a color (for an arrow, or a box fill, etc.) from the palette, the selection never works on the first click; always only on the second.
Minor things. Overall, FS is a faithful, solid workhorse. - Rated 5 out of 5by sughero3, 7 years agoFinalmente oggi ho potuto installarlo su FF 60.0
?? ho detto che è tutto OK! - Rated 5 out of 5by Pedro A., 7 years agoInstalando la extensión desde la página oficial (https://getfireshot.com/fireshot-install.exe) vuelve a funcionar con Firefox 60.0

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14024374, 7 years agoThe best extension to easily export to pdf file (or other formats of your choice), either entire webpage, selection or visible part. I use it all the time. Thanks for a fabulous extension.
I also had trouble installing in it Firefox 60.0 but found FireShot_0.98.94.11.exe on the internet and downloaded it. Removed my existing Fireshot extension first, then closed Firefox and installed the exe file. Worked a treat and I hope this will help others who have trouble installing it in the new version of Firefox.
(In the installing process you can choose which browser(s) Fireshot will be installed into.) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14022672, 7 years agoAnother user who can't use it after the Firefox upgrade to 60.0 and keep getting the "cannot be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 60.0" message.
I did the following and I still cannot get Fireshot installed
1. Removed Fireshot from Firefox addons as you suggested
2. Closed and reopened Firefox, tried to install Fireshot and still get the incompatible message
3. Rebooted computer, opened Firefox and tried to install Fireshot and once again still get the incompatible message.
How do you do a manual extension update check as you suggested to another user.
Please get this sorted as I've tried a few other screenshot addons and they are hopeless compared with Fireshot when it works well.
UPDATE: I installed Fireshot 0.98.94.11 following anonymous user 7756d5's suggestion and Fireshot is once again working in Firefox for me. Many thanks for the suggestion :) And I've updated my rating as well :) - Rated 5 out of 5by legolas_dd, 7 years agoPerfect!

cannot be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 60.0 - Rated 5 out of 5by stevenF, 7 years agoA must have add-on, thanks so much to susbox.
I keep waiting for an update to work with 60.0

'Either remove/reinstall it'. Once removed, you can't reinstall it, Firefox doesn't allow to do that.Developer response
posted 7 years agoThank you - It's compatible to FX 60. Either remove/reinstall it, or do a manual extension update check. - Rated 5 out of 5by Kane Hao, 7 years ago非常好,但是最新版本用不了....蛋疼

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13007539, 7 years agoFirst they took away the overhead skins... Then they took away the tab utility options... Then they took away the download status bar... And when i thought it couldn't get any worse, perhaps my most useful app of all, that of FireShot was deactivated and no longer worked... I never thought i would get FireShot back, but left it installed on my list of add - on anyways for a small chance of hope someone will update it and i wouldn't have to uninstall Firefox for a different browser as this would've been the final straw without FireShot handy... I have been using this app for many years since like FF27 or so about... I love the numerous snapshot options for full page, highlighted selected area, visible screen only etc - etc - etc., and the edit and save location and other options along with varying methods on how to take a snapshot via icon or context menu etc... This is literally the best online snapshot app available ever and the only one that i will use personally, and if Firefox gets rid of it then it will be a long sad goodbye since FF3... Thankfully someone saved it and i just now found this bypass update to get it working again... Thank You, So Much!!!
