Function is rich, but a bit stuck. Sometimes can't input text, I must switch read/editing mode to get over it, annoying!

Fleeting Notes has filled a gap in my workflow. I now have a single place that I can trust to take the notes to where I will process them.

It has opened up Obsidian for me.

It has a clean, elegant design and is easy to use.

The developer provides a simple workflow that I could install without too much trouble (I am not programming literate, but I can cut and paste). I found it an excellent place to start.

FleetingNotes is an interesting idea, which I support, however I do find the syncronisation can be clunky at times. I have set-up an account for syncing purposes, which does seem to work well between this add-on and the Android app. But the synchronisation with Obsidian itself is sometimes problematic. I just had to delete and re-install the Obsidian plugin, which seems to have fixed it for now.

Fleeting Notes seems to have great potential, but even as an experienced technical, but non-programmer, person I am clueless how to get this extenstion to save something in Obsidian, which is one of its big pushes. And I can not get the Android app local sync to work either. Maybe its all because I have not registered and/or am using Fleeting Notes Sync... but its all supposed to be possible without an account from what I read too... I hope I can come back and change this review to something better, including a ´get this to work for dummies´ explanation for future users...
