Make sure to tick the 'Close tab' option for a complete experience. Thank you Blaise! - Rated 5 out of 5by Stefan, 5 years agoAwesome little extension, does exactly what it promises to do. Removes site data for the current domain, using an icon in the address bar or via a keyboard shortcut. Very useful for sites that limit the number of articles you can read.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Javan, 5 years agoThe title "Forget about this site" is misleading because it does not act like the "Forget about this site"-Button in Browser History. It does not delete the "site preferences". These include: Site-specific preferences, including the saved zoom level for sites, character encoding, and the permissions for sites (like pop-up blocker exceptions) described in the Page Info window.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14099658, 5 years agoONLY CLOSE AND FORGET EXTENSION FOR FIREFOX. It works well and is the only choice for firefox, as others either do not work or do not close the tab when deleting data.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15254189, 5 years agoIt worked slick as everything for me, something I'd find extremely handy on sites like VentuSky or Google Maps that like to fill the history full but I don't have a toolbar button, and if I have to use a keyboard command I'll forget it's there.
- Rated 5 out of 5by woam, 6 years agoI was using "Close n' forget" then "Forget that page", both stopped today.
"Forget about this site" works very well.

Dev added a 'Close Tab' option, which is nice, but unfortunatly doesn't resolve this issue. Might also be some issue with my firefox cache as it works with most websites. (Site that does not work is paint.net ... which I got stuck while trying to actually get to getpaint.net)Developer response
posted 6 years agoThis is likely caused by the website creating more items after this addon cleared the selected items. I created a "Close tab" option in version 1.4.0 to prevent that, does that fix it for you?
Update: paint.net redirects to warrenpaint.com. This addon will only clear data for the current domain, so paint.net items will remain untouched. Maybe in the future I will add an option for specifying domains manually or including any host names found in the source of the current page. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13545523, 6 years ago
