Privacy policy for FormHop – Form Recovery & Application Drafts
FormHop – Form Recovery & Application Drafts by Kage Lab
FormHop privacy policy (full version: https://kagelab.app/formhop/privacy)
The short version: FormHop saves what you type into web forms only in your own browser, encrypted. We have no servers that receive it. We never see it, upload it, share it or sell it.
Who we are: Kage Lab, a business name of Cory Christian (ABN 80 695 802 826), Sydney, Australia. Contact: support@kagelab.app.
What FormHop stores (only in your browser): text and choices you type or select in web forms (which can include names, email addresses and other personal details you enter) so you can restore them; the address and title of the page each form was on; a copy of the questions and answers when you submit a form; the questions list for Word drafts (Pro – the .docx file itself is saved by you); your settings.
What FormHop never stores: passwords, PINs, one-time codes, and card, bank account, tax file, passport, licence, Medicare and similar ID numbers; banking and sign-in websites are skipped by default. You can add any site to a "never save" list or pause FormHop on a site.
What leaves your computer: only licence information through our payment provider ExtensionPay (which uses Stripe) – an anonymous licence key at install and periodic checks of it; if you buy Pro you give your email and payment details to ExtensionPay/Stripe on their own pages and we receive your email and purchase record, never full card details. None of your saved answers are ever part of these requests. No analytics, tracking or advertising.
Permissions: access to websites (optional, asked during setup) so answers are saved before something goes wrong – or "Only when I ask"; storage; context menu ("Restore this field"); scripting and active tab to start FormHop on the page you choose.
Keeping and deleting data: free history is deleted automatically after 7 days; with Pro you choose how long. Delete one saved form or everything at any time from "All saved forms". Removing the extension deletes everything it stored.
Your rights: we follow the Australian Privacy Act 1988. For anything we hold (such as a purchase email address), contact support@kagelab.app to access, correct or delete it, or contact the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).
Children: not directed at children under 13.
Changes: we'll update this policy and the listing before any change takes effect, and ask for agreement in the extension where required.
