We fixed a bug with the Preferences/Options tab showing a blank screen when you are viewing FoxFilter in the FireFox Add-ons Manager (i.e. about:addons). Clicking on Preferences now opens a new tab.

It is nice to focus on the quality of a new unified version of FoxFilter, which makes it much easier for us to support our customers and keep up with technology changes with both browsers. * Custom Alert URL. When a site is blocked, the user can be redirected to a custom alert page that you manage (available with a subscription to the Pro or Enterprise plans).

Key Updates:

* Improved password recovery feature. We make it easier than ever to reset your password using your email address and subscription/registration code.

* Made the "restore settings" feature more obvious on the FoxFilter Settings page. This is useful if you have a new computer or your current computer lost the local copy of your FoxFilter settings.

* Improved the background process that downloads your Hosted, Pro, and Enterprise settings.
You no longer have to close and reopen your browser to receive changes to your hosted settings.
It now happens automatically every 15 minutes for all of your computers/accounts.

* A few minor bug fixes

Key Updates:

* Hosted Settings - You can now manage hosted settings within FoxFilter. You no longer need to manage them from our hosted page. If using one of the hosted versions, any changes made locally to your FoxFilter Settings are copied to our secured cloud repository and shared with each computer/account sharing your subscription. Please note that ONLY your FoxFilter settings are copied to our secured cloud repository. We never track any browsing activity nor copy any personal data.

* Tools menu - This feature has been replaced. You can now just right-click on any web page and select FoxFilter Settings from the popup menu.

* Chrome users - Please remember to right-click on the FoxFilter icon in the upper-right section of the browser (aka browser action button) and select 'Hide in Chrome menu'. This will help prevent FoxFilter from being uninstalled. Recent changes to Google Chrome prevent this icon from being hidden without manual intervention by the user.

* New design - Last, but not least is our new user experience. As mentioned above, this will help set the stage for our Firefox Android features which are coming soon!

It is nice to focus on the quality of a new unified version of FoxFilter, which makes it much easier for us to support our customers and keep up with technology changes with both browsers.

Please Note: We distributed a new version 8.0 of FoxFilter to both the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox extensions store on Oct 28, 2017. Some customers have mentioned that their settings from the previous version did not carry over. We apologize for this issue. Please be assured that any existing subscription that you currently have has not been affected or lost. You may just need to re-enter your registered email address and registration code within FoxFilter Settings (right-click on any web page to access this feature).

To retrieve your current registration code, please use the link below, which will allow you to enter your registered email address and get an email with your current registration code:

Once you have entered your email address and registration code and clicked the 'confirm' button, you should see a new button labeled "Restore My Settings". This is helpful if you would like to recover your FoxFilter Settings from our secured cloud backup.
