About this extension
Fuzzy Find replaces the browser's built-in Ctrl+F with a smarter search that understands natural language.
Instead of requiring an exact phrase, it searches for sentences on the page that contain your query words — in any order, with any content between them. If you half-remember something like "open file from folder", it will find the sentence even if the page says "you can open any file directly from the destination folder".
Features
Word-order independent — query words can appear anywhere within the same sentence
Typo tolerant — single-character mistakes are automatically corrected (e.g. "langauge" still finds "language")
Inflection aware — "include" matches "including", "included"; "search" matches "searched", "searches"
Partial match — if only half your query words appear in a sentence, it still qualifies as a match
Sentence-scoped — words must co-occur in the same sentence, keeping results focused and relevant
Keyboard driven — open with Ctrl+Shift+F, Enter cycles through matches, Escape clears
Fast — page text is indexed once and cached; large pages (e.g. Wikipedia) respond instantly
Private — runs entirely in your browser, no network requests, no data collection
