- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14139885, 6 years agoSimple, self-contained (qrcodes are generated using an included js library instead of a web service) and open source.
The recent update adds a white border around the qrcode - so there are no longer problems scanning the code when the web page is dark. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13924992, 7 years agoI would love this more than five stars if I could get it to work with my normal camera app (moto / lenovo )
That only works if there is a white border around the QR , and I'm using a dark theme :(
edit... after some testing this seems to be the case for any qr reader so far ... no white border = no scan - Rated 4 out of 5by Clovis Fabricio COsta, 7 years agoThis extension is great. Only thing I am missing is to be able to generate QR code from selected text, maybe in right click menu?

I wish I could increase the size of the image shown. And it would be nice to have it accessible through the context menu of pages and tabs. Using a menubar icon isn't my favorite.Developer response
