About this extension
Keep your favorite GIF reactions close to your YouTube comments.
GIF Comments adds a compact Tenor picker to comment boxes under videos and Shorts. Search for a reaction, choose a GIF and continue writing your message. Selecting a GIF attaches it to the draft; posting is a separate action using the YouTube comment button.
Features
• Tenor search, quick reaction categories and additional result pages.
• Favorites and recently posted GIFs stored in your browser.
• A GIF with text, or a GIF on its own, in new comments and replies.
• Replace or remove the selected GIF before posting.
• Import and export favorites.
• Optional controls to collapse recognized Tenor GIFs in comments.
• Local draft backups and clear feedback if posting is not confirmed.
• A compact interface with light and dark themes, English and Russian, and keyboard shortcuts.
How to use
Open a comment or reply, select GIF, choose a reaction and press the YouTube posting button when ready. Ctrl/Cmd+Enter posts the draft; Esc closes the picker.
Privacy
There is no extension account, advertising or analytics. Favorites, history, settings and draft backups stay in your browser. Tenor receives searches and GIF lookup requests. YouTube receives your comment and chosen GIF when you post. Details are in the privacy policy.
Designed for desktop browsing. Supports one Tenor GIF in a new comment or reply. Posting availability depends on YouTube, your account and the video. Local image uploads, stickers, channel posts and editing existing GIF comments are not included.
GIF Comments is a separate browser extension and is not affiliated with YouTube, Google or Tenor. Support: melroncode@bk.ru.
