About this extension

GitHub Privacy redacts dates on GitHub. You can choose the level of redaction.
Data privacy and protection has become a big issue nowadays. Not everyone is confident in sharing their data and not every data shown is necessary for others.

This extension enables the user to find out how detailed they need to see information regarding timestamps on GitHub. Is it really necessary to see dd/mm/yy hh:mm:ss or would it be sufficient to see dd/mm/yy or even mm/yy for commits and issues.

Timestamps shown on GitHub can be changed by this extension. Via the settings you can decide on the level of granularity by only changing the seconds, minutes, hour or month.
