Extension Metadata
About this extension
GitHub has a built-in compare view (https://docs.github.com/en/pull-requests/committing-changes-to-your-project/viewing-and-comparing-commits/comparing-commits) that lets you diff two commits, branches, or tags. It's incredibly useful for code review, debugging regressions, or understanding what changed between two points in time.
The problem is that GitHub doesn't surface this feature anywhere obvious in the UI. There's no button, no link in the repo nav — you have to manually construct the URL in your address bar every time. This extension fixes that.
