About this extension
Press one keystroke on any page and your clipboard gets a Markdown-formatted link to it.
Default output for a GitHub issue:
github.com/ducduyn31
Paste straight into a PR description, a code review, a meeting note, a doc — anywhere Markdown renders.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUT
• macOS: Cmd+.
• Windows / Linux: Ctrl+.
Rebind it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
CUSTOMIZABLE TEMPLATE
The Options page lets you change the clipboard format with a live preview. Available tokens:
• {host} — hostname with leading "www." stripped
• {path} — full pathname
• {path[N]} — the Nth non-empty path segment, 0-indexed
• {url} — full URL including query string and hash
• {title} — current tab title

PRIVACY
GiveMeALink runs entirely locally. It does not collect, transmit, or store any data on remote servers. It reads the current tab's URL and title only at the moment you press the shortcut. No analytics. No telemetry. No remote code.
