- Rated 1 out of 5by Solomon Vandy, 9 days agoI can't sign in at all. Even though my gmx.com domain is signed in on the web, mailcheck refuses to sign me in. And there is no error code either.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15051978, 10 months agoUseful and functional, but could be improved with additionnal features, like the action to add a "star" to a mail. The rest of actions (read or write a mail) are just links that points to the webmail. All in all, it deserves more functionalities and a newer design.

Developer response
posted 4 years agoDear user,
we understand that you are concerned about your data. The add-on does not transfer browser history data.
In order to keep the mail.com webmail site opened only once in the browser the add-on needs to monitor all currently active tabs.
The permissions are a technical requirement. Unfortunately, we do not have another way to solve it.
Please be ensured we consider permissions only if they are really necessary.
We will post and update information concerning permission in our online help.
If you have any further questions do not hesitate to contact us (mozdev@1und1.de).
Kind regards

Please update your GMX.com MailCheck to the latest release 5.0.2. This release from the 25th of May, 2020 also supports gmx.us among other additional domains.
If you still are not able to login with your email account, please contact mozdev@1und1.de with details on versions of MailCheck and Firefox and how you proceed.
If it works, we would appreciate the correction of your rating here.
Best regards,

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15204588, 5 years agoGreat when it works, a little unstable and sometimes I have to re-login, and sometimes the link to open my mailbox doesn't work.

We are looking into the described behavior and are trying to reproduce it.
Could you please send us an e-mail to mozdev@1und1.de? We would be grateful to receive more details as follows:
1. MailCheck version
2. Firefox version
3. Are you using MailCheck for international email accounts (gmx.com, gmx.co.uk, gmx.fr or gmx.es)? Or do you have an German GMX-account?
4. Is it possible to login directly on the GMX portal? Do you get the same message there?
5. Do you use other extensions, i.e. NoScript, that block website content? In other cases this caused similar behavior.
Providing screenshots or videos via mail could be helpful to solve the problem quickly.
Best regards,
Your MailCheck-Team - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15235254, 5 years agoIt shows list of incoming emails, but after clicking on a message the add-on won't open GMX email website - there is an error "The page you are looking for could not be found", so there is no e-mail preview or one-click login feature.
