- Rated 1 out of 5by Karina, 3 years agoThere is nowhere in the instructions on how to download the add-on in the first place. So the instructions on how to add it to your list of search engines or make it your default search engine don't work. The screenshots are not a depiction on what is happening on my computer in Firefox. The first screenshot doesn't work because when I click on default engines, there are no search engines in the drop down menu to choose from. The second screenshot doesn't work because none of the options for other search engines appear offering me a choice. I sure would like to know how to fix this problem.

posted 3 years agoHi Karina, when you visit the main page for this add-on, or any add-on, you should see a blue "Add to Firefox" button to install it. A few moments after you click that, Firefox should drop-down a little panel from the left end of the address bar to confirm the installation. - Rated 5 out of 5by Rolf, 4 years ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by takaouto, 4 years agoThis does not work. My default search engine is DuckDuckGo but when I use this extension to try and do a search from the URL bar it just conducts the search in DuckDuckGo anyway.
It does work fine for google.com.au to be your default search engine. But I can't get it to work as the alternate search engine from the URL.Developer response
posted 4 years agoIf the search engine added by this extension is not the default, Firefox should use it if you submit your search by clicking its button on the drop-down. Is that the method which isn't working for you?
Or were you using the search shortcut feature: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/assign-shortcuts-search-engines ? - Rated 5 out of 5by Natnie, 5 years ago
