GooWi v1.0.0 — First Stable Public Release

GooWi v1.0.0 promotes the fully tested v0.8.1 codebase to the first stable general-public release.

Since the previously listed Firefox version, GooWi has gained:

View in GooWi — highlight text on a webpage, right-click, and open the selection in GooWi without changing the underlying page.
Firefox PDF and protected-reader support through a native Firefox sidebar fallback.
A 75-character selected-text limit with clear feedback for overly long selections.
Improved Wikipedia matching for aliases, redirects, formal names, disambiguation pages, and likely typos.
Safer relevance filtering designed to prefer no result over a misleading article.
Wikipedia hatnotes, clarification links, and representative images.
Internal Wikipedia navigation that leaves the underlying Google query unchanged.
Random Article, expand/restore reading mode, and Wikirace with a 10-click initial challenge and optional overtime.

Internal namespace cleanup from legacy development identifiers to GooWi-native naming.

GooWi remains free, open source, and independent. It contains no analytics, ads, telemetry, accounts, persistent identifiers, or developer-operated backend.

v1.0.0 is a version-number promotion of the tested v0.8.1 codebase; no functional changes were introduced solely for the 1.0 promotion.

Initial public beta release of GooWi.

Adds contextually relevant Wikipedia articles alongside Google Search with conservative relevance filtering, typo handling, disambiguation support, Wikipedia hatnotes, Random Article, expanded reading mode, responsive desktop layouts, and a 10-click Wikirace with optional overtime.
