GridVecta Chat Exporter is a Firefox extension designed to help users export their ChatGPT conversations as Markdown files, image archives, or combined ZIP files.

1. Data Access

The extension accesses the current ChatGPT conversation and associated images when the user initiates an export.

It may temporarily use authentication information from the active ChatGPT session to retrieve conversation content.

2. Data Collection and Sharing

GridVecta does not collect, store, sell, or transmit users' conversations, personal information, or authentication credentials to GridVecta-operated servers.

The extension does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party telemetry services.

3. Local File Storage

Exported conversations and images are saved locally through Firefox's download functionality.

The extension does not upload exported content to GridVecta servers. Downloaded files remain under the user's control and may be subject to the user's browser, device, or cloud synchronization settings.

4. Permissions

The extension requires access to ChatGPT and associated image-hosting domains to retrieve the content requested by the user.

These permissions are used to provide the export functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

The extension communicates with ChatGPT services to retrieve conversation content and associated images. ChatGPT is operated by OpenAI and is subject to OpenAI's own privacy practices.

6. User Control

Exports are initiated by the user. Users can remove the extension through Firefox's Add-ons Manager at any time and manage or delete previously downloaded files themselves.

7. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the extension's functionality, permissions, or privacy practices.
