One suggestion.
Is it possible to add "auto refresh dials/groups" function?Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello,
Sure thing, it's on my todo list for few months now, I will try to give it higher priority.
I'm not very good with estimates since there are way too many features and things to be done, but I'm pretty sure it will be finished this year. After I finish current thumbnails synchronization there will be some groups related features where I could add this as well.
Best regards,

posted 6 years agoHello,
This seems like issue with your cookies. My add-on is using cookies to keep you logged in.
See the Firefox Options page (about:preferences) and on the tab "Privacy & Security" check the Cookies settings and also History.
If you set it up to Remember history and "Accept cookies and site data from websites (recommended)" with "Keep until - They expire" then it should work.
Also if you are using some tool (or add-on) to block cookies, make sure to add exception for domain "group-speed-dial.fastaddons.com".
Let me know to my support e-mail if this didn't helped.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Maestro, 6 years agoHello! I installed your add-on a few months ago and recently after updating the browser to version 60.2.2esr(x64) in the LMDE-3 Cindy Linux-4.9.0.8-amdx64 operating system. After closing and shutting down the browser constantly gives an error. In the browser closing error logs there is your GroupSpeedDial extension. How to fix the problem of incorrect shutdown of the browser due to the expansion of GroupSpeedDial? Thank you in advance, with respect, Maestro!

I would somebody mail me with a similar issue to let me know how to solve the isse as I don't see other reliable option to substitute my speed dials for another extension.Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello,
If you are running 10.6 or 10.7 version AND your Firefox version is below 60, for example 56, then you need to reinstall my add-on (make sure to backup your dials first). Sadly the new version released today is no longer compatible with unsupported versions of Firefox and you need at least Firefox 60 ESR.
So you have two options now:
1) upgrade your Firefox to at least Firefox ESR 60 or current release 62.
2) install older version of my add-on 10.5 from this page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/groupspeeddial/versions/
(but you will need to uninstall current version first - also make sure to create backup of your dials before you uninstall it!).
However since your Firefox 56 is no longer supported by Mozilla - I'm strongly recommending you to upgrade your Firefox. Your version 56 doesn't contain any security updates released in version 57 and above.
Also if you have more issues, please contact me to my support e-mail.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14190224, 6 years agoHello,
Long time i was searching for Speed dial like your's. Thank you for your work. The only option is missing for me is dial scrolling option, like group scrolling but for dials, couse i love big thumbnails and 12 dial on group is to small for me. Is there possibility to add dial scrolling?Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello,
I tried this recently, but It I was not satisfied with the result - I was not able to hide scrollbar properly.
However thanks to recent updates, you can now try it yourself.
Go to Options page, and to the field "Custom CSS styles:" enter this:
.dials > a > div {
overflow-y: scroll;
margin-right: -29px;
}
That will enable scrolling of the dials, plus hides the scrollbar.
Alternatively, if you want to see scrollbar and only when it's really needed (when the image is long enough), you can use this:
.dials > a > div {
overflow-y: auto;
}
I hope this helps :)
Best regards,

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13780637, 6 years agoHi. Maybe You consider to add more option to customize appearance. I suggest only two features witch is very improve Group Speed Dial theme. Add setting for thumbnail borders - disable shadows and enable borders and setting for bordes weight (1px, 2px, 4px) and maybe for round border. And add optins for marign for all Group Speed Dial (pixels and procents) so for example I can setup 10% margin (space) around Speed Didal. Od course it would be nice for select border colors options. This is only what i'm missing for. Everythin else is excelent.

posted 6 years agoHello,
I'm adding new styling options over time - rather slowly.
However recently I've added option to load your own CSS styles - in Options page / "Custom CSS styles:".
This enables you to make all the changes you mentioned. However it requires some CSS knowledge...
I will create some examples so that it's easy for users to start. Like that ".dials > a > div > div > span { font-weight: bold; }" will make dials name "bold" (changing styles on ".dials > a" and ".dials > a > div" is what you are probably looking for).
One last thing - soon after I finish current big server upgrade, users will be able to share their custom themes. So soon you should be able to choose from a lot of themes :)
