posted 9 years agoHi!
Thank you for the first public review of the GTranslateWinS.
If you don't want automatic listening to the text involved in the translation you need to open the extension Options window and then uncheck "After translation listen to:" checkbox. Please, see screenshots' slider on the extension page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gtranslatewins/) or open them directly.
How to open the extension Options window:

Look for the "After translation listen to:" checkbox:

As for the question about entire web page translation actually it is available already in some sense with the extension but having only that restriction on opening translation result in a separate pop-up window, not replacing text on the page itself.
I suggest you test case with this feature:
1. Open extension Options as it shown above and uncheck "After translation listen to:" checkbox if you don't want to listen to the entire page.
2. Set the "The max number of characters in the text to translate." field to the maximum value (1 000 000) one million characters.
3. Set the "language to translate into" to any language except english (english is the language of the page you are reading right now).
4. Click somewhere on this page and press Ctrl+A keyboard keys simultaneously (the entire page is selected).
5. Use any of the ways to initiate translation of the selected text:

I have a thought to add the "entire page translation" feature replacing the text exactly in the same place where it was on a page but only with the Firefox 48 release when webextensions will come in their stable state.
