- Rated 2 out of 5by Kitsu-76, 2 months agoI would really like to be able to use this extension, but unfortunately it lags out the browser for me, making it unusable.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18638043, 2 months agothis made me switch to Firefox, thank you.
i think it would be perfect if a option like "mute when not in full-screen" where present - Rated 4 out of 5by Pedro, 2 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Wooddj, 3 months agoIt worked absolutely flawlessly! Ironically, this is easier to manage add-ons/mods (imo) than Opera GX. I don't write reviews a lot, so you've definitely impressed me. Kudos Taylor!
P.S: I would recommend combining this with another add-on Tabliss for the ultimate customization. I made a killer Windows 95 vibe. - Rated 5 out of 5by zéKoruja, 3 months agoI like how this firefox extension works better than Opera GX itself. I'm excited to create my own mod with this extension as well, I didn't have time to do so, but it seems way easier than Opera itself. Also I loved the sample sounds, but can you add the default Opera one as well? Thank you very much :)
Edit: I saw in another dev answer that it's probably not a good idea to include opera's default ones... Do you know a mod that comes with Opera's default sounds?
By the way, I'd like to ask another extension :D please, can you create an extension to make GX Corner available. I saw one on GitHub, but as a complete noob, I couldn't make it work good (it get uninstalled when I close FF), and looking at GX Mods extension I know you can do another AMAZING extension to bring some of Opera's features to Firefox :)
Thank you so much again - Rated 5 out of 5by iEatIce, 3 months agoGreat extension. I personally use it just to have music playing in the background. Though for whatever reason it changes the font on some websites and its a bit of an eyesore for me. Makes the Reddit website look super janky. Could possibly be because I use Firefox themes in combination with this extension (despite everything but the music being turned off). Overall, its a great extension.
EDIT: Big thank you for the response, it fixed my issue.Developer response
posted 3 months agoyou might have installed a mod that adds web mods! when you're on the reddit page, open the settings popup and scroll all the way down -- you might find that some mods are listed under "Theming". turn those off and it should be fixed! - Rated 5 out of 5by Ladybird, 4 months agoI got Into Opera/GX because In the past I had a low spec laptop and needed a lightweight browser. Opera was the only one that didn't have any noticeable lag or delays, which was strange as I hadn't used It In years
GX gained traction once I got a better computer and I kept seeing sponsors for It. Generally I don't like sponsors and feel It Inadvertently ends up giving an Impression of the quality of the product. I trusted Opera as a browser though, for keeping me sane on my terrible pc
Honestly... what people say about It being spyware Is whatever to me. When things like Tiktok are as mainstream as they are I feel like Opera can't be that bad, and people often blow things out of proportion for those sweet numbers. Maybe It's true
But I won't have to find that out...
Personalization Is something that matters a lot to me. Makes life more fun, tweaking everything to your liking, even If overwhelming sometimes. I found the perfect sounds to use for the browser and It made doing things a lot more enjoyable. Whenever I opened any other browser, I had to double check my Inputs were going through because there were no sounds
And It's crazy to me how this Isn't a more popular concept. Yes Mechvibes exists but that leaves out browser specific events. I think while most people would write It off as unnecessary bloat, all the customization features Is something GX Is doing right
People will make you feel like a loser for daring to say you use GX and I didn't want to be seen as lesser just cus I use a certain browser for a silly little reason. And lately I'm starting to feel I should value my privacy more anyway. So I really have been wanting to switch, especially since Manifest V3 has been rolling out
Now I can finally do so. Maybe It's ridiculous I care this much about It. But I just do
Thank you for developing this extension. I Imported my mod and It works just fine, especially after changing some configs so that It could run on protected domains, like the add-on page. Hopefully we can get better compatibility with the address bar In the future! - Rated 4 out of 5by PixelMystifier, 4 months agoVery awesome, works out of the box, one things that annoys me a bit, is that the keyboard sound replays instead of continues whenever I type fast, it would be cool if there's an advanced mode where we can control each sound volume, because some GX mods have louder sounds than the other, regardless, great addon! definately replaced Opera GX ambient for me :)

- Rated 3 out of 5by berg_, 5 months agoGood in theory, but the included tracks are nothing like OGX's.
Developer response
posted 5 months agounfortunately i can't include the original tracks as that'd likely cause problems with licensing and copyright. however, if you look through the GX Store, there are some mods that were uploaded with the original tracks still in them. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18527796, 5 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by amzgwolfie, 5 months agoTried Opera GX because all my friends use it. Thought to myself "someone smarter than me *has* to have figured out how to put all this into Firefox already." You are that someone. My only complaint is that there are no keyboard sounds in the search bar. I saw the issue in GitHub, please add it if you can.

posted 5 months ago6.2.0 adds keyboard sounds to the address bar. it's very scuffed but i tried my best with the tools i was given 😭
i hope that it works okay enough for you! - Rated 5 out of 5by holoninja, 5 months agoReally good extension, does exactly what it says almost perfectly. Devs are actively maintaining it too and are quick and responsive. There is a small issue of no keyboard sound in the url search box but other than that its great.
