Happy Groundhogs Day by BrianZ

Feb 2nd is Groundhog's Day, when the groundhog comes out of his winter hibernation to make his weather forecast. If he sees his shadow, he retreats back into his den, as there will be six more weeks of winter, otherwise there will be an early spring. That's what my grandfather told me anyway. I captured this groundhog taking an autumn stroll in the park next to the New River in Radford, Virginia, USA. Happy Groundhogs Day!
