■ Being a good citizen

In line with Hatena's API terms, this extension avoids putting undue load on their servers.

• Queries cover articles in view plus a short read-ahead (up to 2x the visible count)
• Requests are batched (up to 50 URLs) with at least 3 seconds between them
• Counts are cached for 3 hours

■ Permissions and data sent

• feedly.com - required to display badges on the article list
• bookmark.hatenaapis.com - required to fetch bookmark counts

To look up counts, this extension sends the URLs of articles shown in your Feedly list to Hatena's count API. Only the article URL is sent - no cookies, credentials, or any identifier tied to you. No other data is collected, and no other destination receives it. Never used for ads, tracking, or analytics.

■ Limitations

Bookmark counts come from Hatena's bookmark count API, which Hatena officially describes as experimental. If it changes or shuts down, badges will stop appearing. You can check the status from the toolbar icon.

If an article's URL differs from the URL registered on Hatena Bookmark, the badge may not appear even though the article is bookmarked.
