by Firefox user 18675765, 8 months agoWhat they don't tell you is that "AI" large language models are just technology that already existed but started getting packaged as "AI" for marketing reasons. Now "AI" can refer to anything from an image generator to document spellchecking. I see no meaningful artificial approximation of intelligence. Computers do not think. They add and subtract for us. Nothing has yet been made in the likeness of the human mind. And when it is. It will have to be destroyed ,utterly, and condemned as חרם.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18259252, 12 days agoDoesn't work. Google figured out how to get around it. DO NOT BOTHER. This add-=on is now completely useless.
- Rated 5 out of 5by aa357, 13 days agoBest one I have found so far. The two others I tried either uses the web section in search or the AI Overview shows up for like a second before going away. This had none of those issues so I give it 5 stars. Thank you
- Rated 1 out of 5by MN, 14 days agoNo longer works. All my permissions are turned on but I still see those stupid "results" with every search. Google sucks.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17275815, 14 days agoNo longer works. An easy alternative if you're using ublock origin is to just add this to your filters:
google.com##.hdzaWe - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19037315, 16 days ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 19062191, 16 days agoUsed to work perfectly, sadly has stopped working recently
- Rated 4 out of 5by Alg, 16 days agoStrange... Works for some names (Jim, Tommy, Johnny...) but not with some others (John, Frederic...)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Italian user, 16 days agoIt does work, but you need to switch on permissions in the settings of this add-on in Firefox after you installed it, otherwise it wound't work. You turn on permissions for the local Google websites you use (eg: ://google.com - ://google.at for Austria, ://google.com.au for Australia, etc.) and you're all set.
- Rated 3 out of 5by b____, 20 days agoHad been working great, but unfortunately Google seems to have updated something. No longer works.
- Rated 5 out of 5by juni, 21 days agohey thanks for writing the code i was way too lazy too, i thought you should know that it broke, they've begun adding ai to results further down the page after an actually useful one (sometimes), example: google search for "does skunk smell contain thioles"
