- Rated 5 out of 5by cedbart, a year agoSeule extension trouvée qui fonctionne après plusieurs essais sur firefox. Impeccable, merci !
Autre possibilité Stream recorder sur google chrome , gratuit et pas besoin d'assembler les flux audio et vidéo - Rated 3 out of 5by snow, a year agothe extension only can save the small section of hls video, it doesn't work

posted a year agohow about you RTFM before you complain about a well documented intentional limitation of the free trial version.. as is also documented the full version license removes that limitation. - Rated 5 out of 5by Iranardo da Silva Waked Pontes, a year ago

posted a year ago1) open your browser's "Add-ons and themes" page (using the URL: "about:addons" - or by navigating via the menu)
2) click on the demo version of "HLS Video Download" (that you installed previously)
3) click on the "Options" tab: there is a purple button that will guide you through the purchase and automatically upgrade the demo version to the full version - Rated 1 out of 5by Drakenfly, 2 years agoUnable to incorporate any sound into the video. Video very choppy and small regardless of choice. Even when video detection is on it doesn't always find the video, however I found this to be true as well with other video apps as well.

posted a year agoIf you provide a link to the site that you are trying to use the plugin on, I'll have a closer look at what is going on.. The site might use some HLS feature that the plugin doesn't support yet or it might not be using HLS at all. Streamed videos are not all the same and different tools my be needed to deal with different protocols. But that's exactly the point of the free trial version - to let you test if it works on the specific site that you are interested in. Good luck finding a tool that is tailored to whatever that site is using. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dhanakrit Suanmalai, 2 years ago

posted 3 years agoI just did a quick test with one of the movies on that page. The respective movie supposedly was available from 3 different servers (see "VidSrc"), i.e. "PRO", "Fenbed" and "Mixdrop". From what I observerved, "PRO" did not play at all (nor download with my plugin) but both "Fenbed" and "Mixdrop" did play and could be downloaded just fine.
I find it sad when people downvote the plugin based on false claims. - Rated 5 out of 5by Colchón Amarrado, 3 years agoCuando empezó DownloadHelper, era así de bueno y simple!

posted 3 years agoI just tried the above mentioned site and the file that I tried just downloaded fine (using Vidstream as well as MyCloud - VideoVard and Streamtape do not play on my machine due to my popup blocker settings, so I do not know if those would or would not download). Can you be more specific what exactly did not work when you tried it? - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12820021, 3 years agoWhere others addons fail, this one gets the job done.

posted 3 years agoThis plugin takes the approach of implementing the most *commonly used* HLS features - but to not provide every exotic HLS special case in advance. (I think that most users are better served with an inexpensive plugin that covers the most relevant HLS features than with the alternative of having a 100% HLS feature complete plugin that would be much more expensive.)
Therefore I can only repeat myself: Before buying the plugin you should use the free demo version to verify if the plugin correctly downloads a *playable* version of the specific stream that you are interested in.
The stream that this user was trying to download uses AES-128 media encryption. This is a rarely used HLS feature that I currently consider to be rather irrelevant (this is the first incidence of a user actually requesting it) and which therefore is indeed NOT currently implemented in this plugin. (If there was some substantial user feedback requesting a respective enhancement, this feature might be added in a future plugin version. By all means: If you find that the demo version does not work for some stream that you are specifically interested in, drop me a line to add some weight to a respective feature request!)
Regarding download speed: This plugin sequentially downloads all the chunks of a respective media stream. This approach was selected for its robustness, as servers might actually detect and block unusual parallel download activity. I imagine that other downloaders using a parallel approach might be faster in certain scenarios, e.g. if the server allows parallel chunk downloads and if it imposes bandwidth limitations for individual files - provided that the user's internet connection is not the limiting factor anyway.
Update 26-12-2021: The new 1.1.0 release of the plugin now supports decryption of AES-128 encrypted HLS streams. - Rated 5 out of 5by Greg, 4 years agoThe developer is efficient, quick, intelligent, and personable. I have had excellent results with the plugin, and if there has been any problems, the developer has responded right away to work on any issues. Well worth the small cost of getting the full version.
