I've used Honey for many years, I've never had an issue with it until now. Apparently I must sign in with a PayPal account for my "security", my PayPal account was hacked last year and nothing was done about it except for MY account being suspended.

I tried to close my PayPal account and can't because supposedly there are active subscriptions, which there are none, I went in and deactivated all of them and the last time they were even used were 2-5 years ago.

I even checked the websites and PayPal was not a listed preferred method of payment, it was not even listed.

So sadly to say I am removing this extension and find something else.

the discounts are great, but honey gold part seems to be a scam. I have a lot of honey gold but it won't let me redeem any of it. when I try to redeem, nothing happens. the online chat with customer service feature does not work, and I have emailed customer service more than once with no response at all.

scam

Offers you the option to log in via PayPal, It allows you to log in but doesn't sign you in.

Complete fraud. They stole my cashback then ignored all communication. Everyone please look out for the upcoming Honey class action.

It wont deinstall, it is now permanetly attached to the browser.

scam scam scam scam scam ban this extension already mozilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a scam and actively works *against* finding you the best deals.

i used to use honey a long time ago, back before everything came out about the company, because i thought it would help support the youtubers i liked to watch.

honey is a fraud and a borderline scam. it steals money from affiliate links, money that rightfully belongs to creators.

mozilla PLEASE remove this scammy extension from the firefox browser add-on store. corporate greed like this should not be encouraged!!

I don't think I've saved any money with this scam add-on. It only exists to steal affiliate links from youtubers and the like.

Disappointed in Mozilla for not banning this company and their scam extension from their platform.

Why is this Paypal owned scam extension still on Firefox addon market?
