by Spaypraint, 3 years agoUsually used honey to earn points for some cash back. Worked pretty decent for a while. However just recently when I inquired about some missing points that had not been added for several months I was instantly blocked and black listed. I reached out on twitter and facebook with the same results. Once they asked for my email I was blocked. Now I am sitting on a couple hundred in points that I cannot redeem without explanation. Worst CS ever

On another note, please support MegaLag, the YouTuber who brought Honey's fraudulence to light. He's done some excellent journalism that deserves your attention more than this tool meant to steal money on PayPal's behalf. Don't install this. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19671885, 16 hours ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19665347, 4 days agoWhenever Honey had first entered the zeitgeist I gave them a chance hoping for a decent coupon finder. Every time I attempted to find coupons with the extension it would scan, then tell me it found nothing, after it had promised there were infact coupons available. Thanks to the investigative journalism by MegaLag, we now know that was almost certainly a complete scam, telling you there were coupons when there were not Active coupons, but at the time I thought it was simply a useless extension and a waste. I uninstalled it and never looked back.
Well, dodged a bullet there, ay! What a sleazy piece of code. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 5702412, 5 days agoWatch "Megalag's" youtube video on Honey.
Some of his allegations:
1) Not only does it steal cookies (under last attribution)
2) It ignores the "stand done" requirements
3) It has code to detect whether someone is coming from a test account, affiliate user, or whether someone is a new honey account (Think VW Dieselgate).
4) Honey claims that millions of codes are scanned, but this is not the case
5) It takes coupons down
