Honey will only show coupon codes approved by marketplaces instead of the actual lowest deal available.
They will show you a 5% off and say it is the best deal but searching manually easily gets you far more.
Honey also deliberately overwrites affiliate links even when there is no deal to give you poaching affiliate commissions from people actually recommending things. - Rated 1 out of 5by Matt, 20 days ago

Außerdem sind die Belohnungen des Honey Golds so schlecht im Vergleich zu dem, was Honey mit den geklauten Affiliate Links verdient, dass es schon eine Frechheit ist.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Alex, 20 days agoThis app is a scam:
1. It shows only its coupons, even though there are better in the internet
2. It does not show coupons when there are available coupons
3. It "allows" you to add your own coupon, but it will never be shown to anybody.
4. It overrides referral links, so all the referral bonuses go to PayPal corporation instead of people.
It is scam by PayPal - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18745903, 20 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nafetz, 20 days agoDisgusting scam that steals Money from the people you try to support by affiliate links. It also doesn't even get you the best discount. If the website pays them money, they get to decide what dicounts honey should show.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Lilpsim, 20 days agoThis extension overrides coupon codes on websites i.e. hiding 30% discount codes and only showing 5% codes instead. Not only that, but if you click an affiliate link from a creator, when Honey's "coupons" load, it can and WILL replace the smaller creator's link with a PayPal link, so the money you THOUGHT was going to the creator goes to PayPal, leeching money from smaller businesses and creators.
This extension is Card Reader Tampering in disguise. Boycott both this, and the parent company PayPal to support creators. - Rated 1 out of 5by Brian, 20 days agoThis app will change the cookie status to make the store pay themselves.
