- Rated 1 out of 5by Alkaris, 2 years agoHONEY IS JUST A COMMON EVERYDAY SCAM THAT DOESN'T PAYOUT REWARDS ANYMORE.
While you might be saving on purchases, the rewards system no longer gives out rewards. Honey makes $0 when you save money with coupon codes, because they blew all their funding on Sponsored Ad blocks.
The last time this extension was updated was 4 years ago. so I'd say the team at Honey don't care about it anymore. Don't waste your time with Honey, whatever points you've accumulated over the years, throw your entire account to the trash, as it can't be redeemed on anything. If you try to redeem something it'll say you redeemed your points for it, but doesn't deduct points, or give you the reward you redeemed for.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Rhytz, 2 years agoRarely -if ever- provided a working coupon code, so the popup that claimed otherwise became an annoyance. I deleted it again
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18553247, 2 years agoAutomatically linked my PayPal account to itself, without my permission. Then, it would not let me login without logging in to PayPal.
Deleted.
Worthless crap anyway...never works, I have used this app for well over 5 years and none of the points ever accumulate, it takes months upon months to get anything back, and when you do, it is a terrible point to purchase ratio and point magically disappear without warning and no way to get any live person on the phone to help with anything.
Save your time, privacy, and everything else and uninstall this bloatware. - Rated 4 out of 5by blxiii, 2 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by CheeseburgerWalrus, 2 years agoFor such a praised addon, I have to say this is the most annoying and useless addon I have ever had the displeasure of using. It rarely works on the sites I'd like it to work on, and even when it does it constantly pops up telling me it can save me money only for every single discount code to fail.
Probably just an addon used to track analytics of online shoppers. Nothing more. Might save you a couple bucks somewhere down the road, but not enough to be worth the headache. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18492113, 2 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Browncore, 2 years agoNot easy to use, not intuitive, barely works. Saved me maybe $15 in 3 years of use.
- Rated 1 out of 5by kftX, 2 years agoLike most people here, I've noticed the PayPal tomfoolery afoot. Now it even tries to force you to link or use a linked PayPal account to do something as basic as logging in. Stay away from this trash. Used to be amazing. Not so much now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by scarecrow, 2 years agoI was trying to uninstall the extension through my settings, due to privacy concerns, and it literally would not work and would re-enable itself somehow. I had to manually go into my Firefox profile files and delete the entire Honey extension folder to get it to finally uninstall from my browser. Highly recommend avoiding this mess!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18443524, 2 years agoI got this extension since people I trust recommended it. Without ever spending it, my gold balance vanished. And no matter how much I try the coupons never work - and the "earn gold for this purchase" never deposits a single piece of gold. I've been at 0/1000 for over a year now despite regularly shopping and being told I had a lot coming from my Christmas purchases in 2022 and 2023. Never seen a single gold.
- Rated 1 out of 5by AmUnRA, 2 years agoTLDR; Not interested in you getting good rebates but getting there highest share of provision and data on you since bought by PayPal.
Used to be good and helpful, now it is a data collector for PayPal. In recent months no code worked or it did replace better or equal codes with Ref-Codes from Honey where they make more money themself. Also blocks codes from competitors when theyself have none, screwing the customer in the process. - Rated 2 out of 5by DonK, 2 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Lazerus101, 2 years agoUsed to be a great plugin, now its just a time waster and data thief.
None of the codes it suggest work, which slows down your checkout on sites. Plus goodness only knows how much personal data they farm. - Rated 2 out of 5by Darren, 2 years agoI have to agree, the Honey Firefox extension is nowhere near as good as the Chrome version. Disappointing.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18352178, 2 years agoI've used Honey for years and something's changed. I've tried 10 times over the last 5 months to redeem my points for gift cards, which never arrive. I've contacted Honey at least 5 times via chat, email and Twitter. No response or help. Chatbot crashes and freezes every time. Total scam company.
