- Rated 1 out of 5by rik, 8 years agoSounds like a good idea. However, in signing up I kept being asked to provide my email address. Which I did, correctly, over and over. I'm no longer surprised when something on the internet is just aggravating.
- Rated 5 out of 5by abirex, 8 years agoThe Corel paintshop program that I was interested in was originally $99.99; it was on sale via Corel for 79.99. Even on sale it was a little out of my budget. I thought about Honey and clicked on it to see if anything would happen. I paid a total of $50.99 with the help of Honey!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Booger Bender, 8 years agoThis plugin was able to save me a ton of money with coupon codes that give you discount on products you order. stuff like pizza, restaurants, shoes, clothing, any online store it will challenge coupon codes and tells you which will work which wont. :)
- Rated 1 out of 5by MetalgodZ, 8 years agoInstalled after seeing a friend's positive experiences with it, and did a little testing to see what it could save. As far as saving money goes, it works quite well for several popular sites.
Immediately after installing, however, the performance of the browser slowed to a crawl. Changing tabs took forever, loading tabs took twice as long, and anything relying on a plugin (Flash, Java, other) would hang the browser and the entire computer for as long as 5 minutes. I tried closing tabs (I usually run with two windows and 120+ tabs open), but this had no effect. I'm running Mac OS, so I pulled open a terminal and ran top, sorted for CPU and RAM, and found nothing increased from prior to the install. I then cleared all temp files, disabled all plugins (Honey, Noscript, Self Destructing Cookes, uBlock Origin, and Tab Counter), and then enabled them all one at a time, leaving Honey for last.
Enabling Honey reduced the performance of the browser immediately to a crawl, and disabling it immediately restored the performance.
Between the privacy implications of the plugin (http://www.novatexsolutions.com/blog/v/honey-is-watching-you/) and the performance issues, I will be at least leaving the plugin disabled except while checking out. If I continue to have performance issues, I'll just uninstall it entirely. - Rated 5 out of 5by Linda, 8 years agoThis saves me money often on Amazon by telling me that another seller has a lower price. And, I just saved $20 on a print order with Shutterfly! (That's like a 40% discount.) Just click on the Honey button and it looks for available coupons. Wow!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Rosplock.D, 8 years agoI use this multiple times a day. Probably the best add-on I've ever downloaded on my browser. Hands down.
UPDATE: you will literally have a chance at saving money on anything you buy on the internet by using this. It's so simple! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12683090, 8 years agoGreat add-on!!!!!
Just touch the H at the top of the screen and it finds available coupons. I just saved $5. WOW - Rated 5 out of 5by fran12188, 8 years agoI Had a 15% coupon Honey found me a 25% coupon
that really saved some$ - Rated 4 out of 5by Reitveld, 8 years ago- Very nice app and it does find me the lowest price.
- As this extension checks for prices every time an Amazon advert or page is loaded, it REALLY slows down my macbook. Spinning beachballs are a norm.
- I wish there was a toggle on/off button to turn this extension off when not needed (without disabling the extension) as this would speed up my computer.
- Also, sometimes, it does not display anything on an Amazon page. I'm not sure if the app is working, searching, or if I have the lowest price. I kind of wish there was something letting me know (color changing icon, progress bar, search-now button, etc.)
- Also, when there is a better deal, I want to review that page and seller info... but the only option is to add the better deal to the cart... and then I have to go to the cart, click on the item to see seller info and then delete the item from my cart. CLUNKY! - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13018597, 8 years agoI have a mid/high-end gaming rig, but this app really occupied my processor and internet bandwidth, slowing my browsing to a stuttering crawl. Really annoying. Not worth any savings it might have gotten me.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13016351, 8 years agoit many only get me discounts some of the time, but it does indeed find great deals ! I am very happy with the app
