- Rated 1 out of 5by Eb3yr, 19 days agoBorderline malware. Replaces referral links with their own at the last moment on checkout, even if you're purchasing through someone else's referral link. They often don't list a deal so that they can push the line that you're already getting the best deal, then they get a cut through their referral, when deals do in fact exist and are easy to find. Never install this extension.
- Rated 1 out of 5by no need for that, 19 days agoHoney only shows store approved coupons (usually 5-10%) which are rarely the best deals. In addition they get their money from taking commission on your purchases, stealing money from anyone who actually refers you to a product, and they do this regardless of whether or not they provided you with a coupon or not.
You're better off hunting for coupon codes the old fashioned way to get the best deals, even if it takes longer. - Rated 1 out of 5by MikeRay, 19 days agoThis is a scam addon that changes affiliate tracking links to steal from online creators, even when it doesn't find any coupon codes to apply. It also does not find you the best deal, Honey purposely finds worse deals for you on products by companies that partner with them.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18746670, 19 days agoAbsolute scam, documented to steal from consumers and creators.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Archimedes, 19 days agoIt's a scam, they are ripping off your favorite creators that you are trying to support by clicking a link that will earn them a commission. When Honey pops up at checkout, and say they have coupons for you, and you click on it to check for coupons, it replaces the cookie of your favorite creator with their own stealing the commission. And you probably don't even get a coupon code.

- Rated 1 out of 5by spacewoag, 19 days agoHoney is the largest scam addon/extension that has ever existed. They steal money from affiliate links to pocket the money that otherwise would've gone to the content creators. Please do not use this addon, this is the worst behavior I've ever witnessed on the internet. As well as, it doesn't even work as intended.

Opera GX browser also does this, for what it's worth. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18746643, 19 days agoThere is a youtube video which describes this called Exposing the Honey Influencer Scam by MegaLag.
This isn't actually super helpful in saving any money and at best, it will steal affiliate commissions from other partner's links with their own, even if you visited a website earlier through a different link. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16414064, 19 days agoHoney typically isn't all that helpful, struggles to find working coupons (or lie), their rewards are pitiful compared to the money they make off of you, and have been proven to steal affiliates' credit such as from your favorite Youtubers.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18746630, 19 days agoHoney has a deal with companies they work with to not show you some of the better coupons for that site. They also steal commissions from influences/content creators.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Hidden Squid, 19 days agoSCAM! They can hide a coupon code with a high discount if the business which you are buying from partners with Honey.
They also steal revenue from creators by replacing their affiliate link with a honey affiliate link, even if Honey does not find any deals. - Rated 1 out of 5by mber1991, 19 days agoScam. Overrides affiliate links for whatever product you're looking at even if they don't find a coupon

- Rated 1 out of 5by Termus, 19 days agoSteals affiliate links that you've clicked on and funnels the money to Paypal. Hides the higher value coupon codes from you. Just full of lies. I'm sure they're doing shady things with all the cookie data it's also scraping. Extensions like these make you a product. They're not going to help you in the long run.
