Your theme choice and options are saved in your browser's extension storage. Your browser may sync them between your own devices.
If you add a background picture, it is resized and saved only in your browser. It is never uploaded.
The extension makes no network requests and has no analytics or tracking.
It runs only on github.com and gist.github.com, and only changes how those pages look.
