- Rated 5 out of 5by Paige Brown, a year agoAwesome extension - makes the New Tab page SO much more useful! And the developer is super responsive via email if you run into trouble (or if, like me, you forget there's a whole "settings" menu).

It might not seem like much, but this is something I interact with virtually every time I'm using my internet browser, and for my tastes, a nice customized display of my bookmarks is really all I ever want when I open a new tab, other than a search bar- and the browsers address bar takes care of that.
It hasn't exactly added any new features, or had any major changes in years- but that's fine. This extension is fine to be in a maintenance mode, of sorts, development wise, because it kind of does everything I could possibly want it do for the most part.
The only non-positive thought I have is that it's not super touch-screen friendly? I guess custom CSS might be able to do some work there maybe.
So, in short, I love it! I've been using it for years, even before I switched from Chrome back to FireFox in 2019.
The only thing is that it requires you to spend a little time with it's settings menu to put together something you like, and if you can't be bothered with a little configuration, it might be best to just stick to the vanilla New Tab page. - Rated 2 out of 5by GaryM, a year agoChrome version is great, but the Firefox version download Favicons from an online source, so any local sites will not get an icon. In the Chrome version it pulls the favicons from Chrome's cache. Shame, it looked so good in Chrome, but a bit naff in Firefox.

A filter/search field for the bookmarks whould be awesome.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Trallnag, 2 years agoI have been using this extension for a long time on Chrome and it works just as fine on Firefox! Although it is missing the "Open on other devices" option. But this is due to a lack of support for this in Firefox, so can't blame HNTP.
