HxMn-Grammar: main functions
- Fully offline. After installation nothing is sent anywhere. All dictionaries are bundled in the extension.
- Swedish and English. Checks spelling and grammar in both languages and detects which language a word belongs to.
- Ctrl+Space opens the menu. It corrects the word at the text caret, and the menu always appears in the middle of the screen.
- Spelling and grammar suggestions. Handles typos and Swedish compound words, and includes a small set of grammar rules.
- Keyboard-layout rescue. If you forget to switch keyboard, ; is read as ö, ' as ä and [ as å, so "k;nner" becomes "känner".
- Synonyms. Shown below the corrections and labelled SV or EN. A correctly spelled word gets synonyms only. You choose how many to show, 0 to 9.
- Keyboard control. Pick suggestions with the number keys. The left and right arrow keys step to the previous or next word, and this can be switched off in the settings.
- Own words. Add words, names and e-mail addresses from the menu or in the settings.
- Ignore list for sites. On sites you choose, such as banks, the extension does nothing at all. A toolbar button switches the current site off or on.
- Privacy and safety. Password and card fields are never read. Nothing is stored from private windows.
- Platforms. Works in Firefox on Linux and Windows.
