Latest version
Version 1.4.1
Released Aug 16, 2026 - 67.06 KBWorks with firefox 140.0 and later, android 142.0 and laterFinal Release 1.4.1
Fixed
Site exclusions matched anywhere in the URL, so sites you never excluded could be skipped — for example a link containing "whatsapp.com" in its query string, or a lookalike domain like "notwhatsapp.com". Exclusions are now matched against the real hostname, and cover subdomains.
A custom User-Agent suffix containing accents or emoji produced an invalid HTTP header, which could break requests across sites with no visible cause. The suffix field now accepts plain ASCII only and tells you why.
The announcement counter could show 0 instead of your real total, and in rare cases overwrite that total with a low number, if the extension's settings could not be read at startup.
The Settings panel could get stuck and need two clicks to reopen if you closed and reopened it quickly.
Requests sent in the first moments after Firefox started could go out without the suffix.
Turning the extension off and on again could take one extra page reload to apply.
If the extension's settings could not be read, the extension now stays off, and the popup recovers instead of freezing with its Settings button disabled.
Changed
Fewer permissions: "Access browser tabs" and "Access browser activity during navigation" are no longer requested.
The announcement counter is now accurate. It counts only page loads that actually went out with your suffix, so back/forward navigations served from cache and excluded sites no longer inflate it. Your existing total is kept — it will just grow more slowly from here.
On an excluded site, the Status tab now says so and drops the suffix from the User-Agent preview, instead of showing a suffix that was never sent.
The popup shows a loading placeholder while it reads your stats, instead of briefly displaying dashes and zeros that looked like real values. Nothing shifts position once the numbers arrive.
A custom suffix or exclusion entry that is not valid is now discarded on upgrade. If you had set one, it reverts to the default.
The colour scheme now follows your system by default. If you picked Light or Dark by hand, that choice is kept.
New
Spanish translation, and the interface is now translatable.
A "System" option in the colour scheme picker.
A short note on the welcome page explaining that a custom User-Agent is a fingerprint — worth reading once.
Keyboard and screen-reader support: arrow-key navigation between tabs, focus handling in the Settings panel, visible focus outlines, and reduced-motion support.
Your announcements, trophies and streak are all preserved on upgrade.Source code released under GNU General Public License v3.0 only

Settings overhaul & bug fixes- Fixed: settings panel had duplicate element IDs
throughout the HTML — all Settings features
(exclusions, UA suffix, counter toggle) were
silently broken as event listeners were wired
to hidden elements. Root cause eliminated. - Excluded sites: Add button and × removal now
work correctly. WhatsApp and Cloudflare shown
with a lock icon as permanent built-in entries. - User-Agent suffix: custom suffix saves and
updates the Status tab preview instantly. - Enable announcement counter: toggle completely
pauses all counting when off (previously only
filtered F5 reloads, not navigations/searches).
Renamed to make behaviour clear. - Appearance: Light / Dark theme toggle restored
to Settings after it was accidentally removed. - Status tab: new footer panel showing
announcement count, days active, and current
rank — always visible without switching tabs.
Rank displayed in its own full-width row to
accommodate longer names (Mirror Maintainer,
Arch Loremaster, etc.). - Popup width increased from 340px to 360px.
