iframe Resizer by Haroun B.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Aubble, 7 days agoI use this to resize the annoying iframe elements that are embedded in many Canvas pages for my college classes. It works when I need it to, however, I realized it can cause issues on certain pages that don't even have iframes. Notably, it makes the ctcLink homepage (web system used for managing my college classes) completely unusable, as it removes elements from the site unless I disable the extension. If you could find a fix for this or just add a way to disable the extension on specific sites, I would appreciate it.

As for it causing issues on some sites, I would much rather fix the root cause so it just works, instead of having to add exceptions.
Could you please open the browser's Devtools and check the console for errors? it would help me identify the issue and hopefully fix it.
Thanks :) - Rated 5 out of 5by rjkzq, 4 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Fire Fan, 5 years agoIt was exactly what I was looking. I would just like to suggest some tweaks to more more easier to make the user to maximize the iframe:
1) Maybe if you double click in some empty space inside in iframe, the extension could automatically maximize that given iframe
2) There could be some small pop-up next to iframes with some option like "maximize"
Basically my only suggestion would be to make easier/quicker for the user to maximize a given iframe without them having to go the toolbar and click on the button and then click on the iframe.Developer response
posted 5 years agoThank you for your input !
Currently the quickest way to maximize a pre-selected iframe is by using the keyboard shortcut: "Ctrl + F1". If the page has more than one iframe and you have yet to make a selection, you'll be prompted to select an iframe to maximize.
That been said, I'll definitely keep what you said in mind for the next release.
I would also like to point out that this extension is open-source (https://github.com/haroun-b/iframe-resizer). So please feel free to fork it, if you need to make adjustments before then. You may also submit a feature request so someone else might work on it.
