- Rated 1 out of 5by Marty, 5 days agoThe update after 5 years is useless to me. I only want my downloaded images to be in the Downloads folder and not in dozens of folders. With so many folders in the Downloads folder, I simply lose track of everything. For this reason, I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled the previous version 1.5.3. because this version works the way I need it to. The previous version can be found further down by clicking on “Show all versions.” Download the corresponding XPI file and install it via “Install extension from file.” After installation, simply disable automatic updates for the specific extension.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Chemical Fab, 5 days agoUpdate to 5.10.0 made the extension not working on 115.28.0esr (Win 8.1 64 bits), making the tab crash (and only display 4 pictures of the extension ?)
- Rated 5 out of 5by Mattoken, 6 days agoHats off to the developers for extending the beloved Imageye extension to Firefox—about time!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Sherlocat, 3 months agoI adore this extension on Chrome, but I just installed Imageye on Firefox, only to realise the Firefox version has not been updated in five years!! For that reason alone, I must give a one-star rating and uninstall it. If the Firefox extension is updated once again, please let me know, and I will re-rate it accordingly.

- Rated 5 out of 5by DL, 4 months agoI honestly don't know why any image saver extension is rated higher than this, or why this one has so few users. People need to get the word out! I'm certainly telling my friends. This is ACTUALLY the extension you are probably looking for. Other ext's have terrible UI's, don't show you previews of what will be downloaded, and often download everything into a zip file (probably because they attempt to download every image, icon, etc at once). They also have ridiculous "required" permissions that are highly suspicious and don't seem necessary. This ext has only one permission needed, shows you a preview with the resolution details, allows to to pick just that one if you want, and downloads the actual file instead of zipping it. Like I said, this is most likely what you are searching for!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Yao_Jinxvxs, 4 months agoIt is good, but last update 4 years ago???? Chrome's version was last updated yesterday (13 may 2025)
Is Firefox a joke to you? We want new updates too
I'll reconsider my review if this extension gets an update - Rated 5 out of 5by Thawadioo, 5 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ramon V M, 7 months agoUnlike other similar add-ons, it detects all images quickly and you can even open them in a new tab independently [which I recommend more than using the download button]. I find it useful for downloading "hidden" images that I can only open using the site code "inspector". Thank you! :)
- Rated 1 out of 5by edenflare, a year agofound 3 images on instagram page that I loaded up 300 lol doesn't download all, and cannot download video, has potential to be better than paid services if it could download an entire page loaded up with all videos and images.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Marcus, a year agoDoesn't find all images on the page, particularly the ones I can't just right-click-save which makes it useless to me.
I tried clicking the 'search in all frames' option and the desired images still didn't show up. These are the same images that displayed with similar plugins when using Chrome so it's defintely a plugin thing.
Video DownloadHelper no longer follows the image download function, so I started using it as an alternative add-on, but for the time being, I can download images without any problems, so for the time being, ☆ 5.
However, it's a little disappointing that there is no function to save the downloaded image files in VDH in any folder or to rename and save them, so ☆ 1 point deduction ☆ 4.
Hopefully, the next update will add those features. - Rated 5 out of 5by Glory, a year agoThanks; was able to download a photo that I wanted for my phone wallpaper
- Rated 1 out of 5by piousminion, a year agoI'm on a facebook page with hundreds of photos and this extension says it only found 1 image. lol What a joke.
