IMDb Watchlist Checker by Ricardo Sotolongo

See which films on an IMDb person page are already on your Watchlist. A yellow bookmark ✓ appears on the poster of every film in an actor's or director's filmography that you've saved, so you can spot what you've planned to watch at a glance.

WHAT IT DOES
When you browse an actor's, director's or other person's page on IMDb, the add-on marks every film that is on your own IMDb Watchlist. You no longer have to open titles one by one or keep a second tab with your Watchlist beside you.

HOW IT WORKS
• The add-on reads your Watchlist pages on www.imdb.com using your existing IMDb login and keeps the list of title IDs in the add-on's local storage on your device.
• On person pages (imdb.com/name/…) it adds the ✓ to each film on that list.
• When you open a title page, it also notes whether the film is on your Watchlist, so changes you make are picked up without waiting for the next sync.
• The list refreshes automatically when the browser starts and every 6 hours. The toolbar popup shows how many titles are cached and when they were last synced, and has a "Sync now" button.

GETTING STARTED
1. Install the add-on and sign in to IMDb.
2. Firefox treats site access as optional. Open about:addons, select the add-on, go to Permissions, and allow "Access your data for www.imdb.com".
3. Click the toolbar icon and press "Sync now", or wait for the first automatic sync.
4. Visit any person's page on IMDb and look for the ✓ on films from your Watchlist.

PRIVACY
• Nothing leaves your browser. The only network requests go to www.imdb.com, to read your own Watchlist.
• No accounts, analytics, tracking or remote code.
• The add-on never changes your Watchlist.
• It asks only for what it needs: storage (the cache), alarms (the 6-hour refresh) and access to www.imdb.com.

GOOD TO KNOW
The add-on relies on IMDb's page structure, which is not a public API. If IMDb changes it, the popup shows "Last sync failed" and ✓ marks may stop appearing until the add-on is updated. If a sync fails, the previous cache is kept.
