posted 9 days agoHey Simon, sorry to hear your experience was not what you expected - This add-on's primary purpose is to unblock direct image links of Imgur images. Mainly for those embedded onto webpages such as Steam Guides, Reddit comments or websites where the the page has a URL such as i.imgur.com/xxxxx - The addon will change this URL into one which starts with https://imgup.uk/proxy/?url=
If you are looking for something to unblock imgur.com's main homepage or their interactive albums I would suggest a VPN since this is beyond the scope of this add-on for now.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Altirix, 2 months agoWas a bit sus as seems to be missing a link to source code but is MIT licensed. code is simple and looks fine. but does have some cases missing tho as im finding the proxy is redirecting the browser to imgur on albums. (cant provide link here). direct images like those ending in .png .jpg seem to work.
(there has been a "Imgur Duck Proxy" thats ive used which in the past worked well for me but now 404s maybe blocked? the imgur detection rules they have are much better than what has been produced by the AI agent used.)Developer response

Thanks for the feedback! I will make the codebase public and a github link here if applicable (Apologies as it's my first Firefox add-on)
Will work on getting the imgur albums working and non direct linked images. This was mainly created to support embeded images in web pages such as guides, reddit posts, comments etc.
Thank you for the review and I shall update shortly! - Rated 5 out of 5by firedflyer, 2 months agoI’m very fond of this particular add-on, as it allows me to quickly and easily send and view images with my coworkers and friends from different regions around the world whenever imgur is unavailable or down. It’s such a whimsical extension!
