    Version 1.1.1

    Released Oct 21, 2026 - 114.65 KB
Works with firefox 140.0 and later
    What’s coming in version 1.1.1
    1. Two new fields have been added to the "Edit Position" window (accessed via the pencil icon).

Type a tag and press Enter or a comma.
Tags you’ve used previously appear below the field; you can add them with a single click.
If you’ve already entered "FOMO" and later type "fomo," the system will save it as "FOMO." This ensures that a single typo doesn't result in two separate entries in your statistics.
    2. Small "chips" (tags) now appear next to the "Active/Closed" status badge in the positions table.

The row height remains unchanged (I’ve verified this: it’s 47 px, and the table still doesn't require horizontal scrolling).
Errors are indicated by a red ⚠ icon; if there are multiple errors, a number appears next to it.
Clicking a tag chip filters the table to show only positions with that tag; clicking it again removes the filter.
An "All tags" dropdown menu has been added, featuring options like "Any mistake" and "No tags." The latter is useful for adding tags to older trades.
The search function now includes tags in its results.
    3. A new "By Tag" card has been added to the Analytics section. For each tag, it displays the number of positions and closed trades, win rate, average win, average loss, and total realized P/L. Above the table, you’ll see a summary line like this:

What your mistakes cost you this year: −$2600 across 3 positions · FOMO −$2300 · no stop −$1500

Clicking this line opens your Portfolio, filtered by that specific tag. All amounts are calculated by the same engine used for the rest of the analytics, ensuring they remain consistent with the Net Realized P/L.
    1. Minor details.

The CSV export now includes two additional columns: Tags and Mistakes.
Tags are carried over to the new year along with the position.
The "Duplicate" button copies tags (setups) but not mistakes, as the latter do not yet exist in the duplicated entry.
If a filter hides all positions, the table displays "No positions match the current search or filter" instead of "No positions yet."

    Version 1.1.0

    Released Oct 17, 2026 - 106.98 KB
Works with firefox 140.0 and later
    What's new in 1.1.0

NEW: Stock splits and reverse splits
Open a position's transaction history and click "Split". Choose reverse (e.g. 1-for-10) or forward (e.g. 2-for-1), set the ratio and the date, and pick which transactions it applies to — by default everything up to the split date. Quantities and prices are converted, the money stays exactly the same, commissions are never touched, and the latest split can be undone with one click.

    NEW: Notebook tab
A place for your trading rules, lessons and checklists. Rich editor with headings, bold/italic/underline, text colours, highlights, lists, quotes, tables and links, plus a wide reading view, search, pinning and colour labels. Includes an example note to get you started. Everything stays in your browser and is part of your JSON backup.

    NEW: Bookmarks tab
A speed dial for your research sites: TradingView, Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, Finviz, SEC EDGAR and Nasdaq are included, and you can add your own. Type a ticker once and every tile opens straight on that stock. Drag tiles to reorder. Tiles are drawn locally — no logos or previews are downloaded.

    IMPROVED: Analytics
    - New "Net Realized P/L" card: total profit plus total loss for the year, matching Net Result on the Portfolio tab.
    - Hover any month in the P/L chart to see which stocks were sold and what each one made or lost.
    - New: Payoff Ratio, Max Drawdown, Longest Streak and a Realized P/L by Ticker chart.
    - Partial sales of positions you still hold are now counted in the month they happened.

IMPROVED: AI Prompts now come with 5 starter prompts (one-click button if your library is empty).

    FIXED
    - New transactions could default to tomorrow's (or yesterday's) date depending on your time zone.
    - If the browser refused to save (storage full), the change was lost silently. IndieTJ now tells you immediately and warns before storage fills up.
    - Pressing Escape closed every open window at once; it now closes only the top one.
    - Several smaller robustness fixes, including safer handling of imported backup files.

Still 100% private: no accounts, no tracking, no cloud. The only network connection is the optional Finnhub price lookup with your own API key.

  • Version 1.0.9

    Released Aug 1, 2026 - 77.94 KB
Works with firefox 140.0 and later
    v1.0.9
    New:
    - Target & Stop levels — set an optional target and stop price per position; shown as a compact line under the live price, with a clear visual cue when a target is reached or a stop is breached. Purely informational — indieTJ never places or suggests an order.
    - Position Size calculator (new tab in the Stock Calculator) — enter your account size, risk %, entry and stop, and get the exact number of shares to buy.
    - Market Value column — see what each open position is worth right now, plus its share of your portfolio, and a new Portfolio Value card on the dashboard.
    - Optional commission/fee field per transaction, hidden by default — turn it on only if you track it.
    - Backup reminder — a quiet indicator on the Export button and a dismissible banner after 30 days or 25 changes, so your data is never more than one click from being safe.
    Fixed:
    - Realized P/L now reflects only the shares you actually sold (standard cost-basis accounting). Previously it also counted capital still invested in shares you were still holding, which produced a misleading number after re-entering a position.
    - Toggle Closed, Search, Filter and Sort no longer blank out live prices, unrealized P/L and fetched company names — this has been fixed at the source (a caching issue) instead of requiring a manual price refresh.
    - The Calculator now prefills the live market price into price fields and no longer carries over values from the previously viewed position.
