IP Yar ("the extension") is a browser extension by Hamid Rashidi that shows your public IP address, ISP and DNS servers, and looks up details for any IP address or domain.


The developer does not collect, receive, store or sell any personal data. The extension has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.


The extension saves only these settings in your browser: interface language, theme, last opened tab and panel position. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.


To work, the extension sends requests directly from your browser to public third-party online services. These include services that detect your public IP address, services that provide location and ISP details for an IP address, a public DNS service that returns the DNS records of a domain you enter, a test service that detects which DNS servers your browser uses, and services that provide country flag images and web fonts.

These services can see your IP address and the IP addresses or domains you look up, in the same way any website you visit can. They are operated by third parties and their own privacy policies apply. The developer does not receive this data.


The "Support / Report a problem" button only opens your own email app with a prepared subject and text (extension name, version, browser type and interface language). Nothing is sent automatically. You see the full message and decide whether to send it. If you send it, the email goes to support.yarteam@gmail.com and is used only to answer your message.

The extension does not request access to websites, and it does not read your browsing history, page content, passwords or form data.


If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
