• All four phase rates to 2035 — Employer 1.5% for 2026 to 2028, 3% for 2029 to 2031, 4.5% for 2032 to 2034 and 6% from 2035, with the matching State top-up of 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2%.
• The EUR 20,000 line handled the Irish way — EUR 20,000 decides who is enrolled; it is never deducted before the percentage. Contributions run from the first euro of gross pay.
• The band mistake in euros — Shows exactly how much you under-budget if you copy the UK qualifying-earnings method and take EUR 20,000 off each salary first.
• EUR 80,000 cap on the employer side — Employer and State contributions stop at EUR 80,000 of gross pay, so high earners are costed at the cap, not at their salary.
• Per pay run, not just per year — Splits the annual employer cost across monthly, fortnightly or weekly payroll so the figure matches the run you are about to approve.
• Gap against what you provisioned — Subtracts the amount already in your 2026 budget so the output is the number you still have to find.
