What IsThisClickbait does
IsThisClickbait lets you analyze any YouTube video with one click.
When you use Analyze with IsThisClickbait, the extension opens our site app.isthisclickbait.com in a sidebar or new tab and shows:
-🧠 AI analysis of the video
-📌 Concise summary and key points
-💬 Follow-up Q&A chat about the video
You stay on YouTube while the analysis appears alongside the video.
How to use it in Firefox
Toolbar / left-rail button (sidebar)
- Click the IsThisClickbait button in Firefox.
- The sidebar opens with analysis for the current YouTube video.
YouTube watch page button
- Go to any YouTube watch page.
- Click the “Analyze with IsThisClickbait” button.
- The analysis opens in a new tab on app.isthisclickbait.com.
Right-click a YouTube link
- Right-click any YouTube link or thumbnail.
- Choose “Analyze with IsThisClickbait” from the context menu.
- The analysis opens in a new tab.
Account & pricing
Usage requires a paid account at isthisclickbait.com , The browser extension itself is free to install; all billing and plan management happens on the website, not through Mozilla.
What data is sent
Only the current YouTube video URL is sent when you click Analyze. We do not collect your full browsing history. We do not change anything in your YouTube account (no access to subscriptions, comments, or uploads). All AI processing happens on our servers after receiving the URL.
