JobTailor AI – Resume & Application Assistant by Taimur Khan

AI-powered resume tailoring, cover letter generation, ATS scoring, and job tracking on every job page.

JobTailor AI turns every job posting into a tailored resume, a real ATS score, and a cover letter — in about a minute — without inventing anything that isn't already true on your resume.

Open any job page and the JobTailor side panel reads the posting, scores your resume against it, and shows exactly what to change: line by line, with an "accept / reject" control on every suggestion. Nothing lands in your resume until you say yes.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• ATS match score with a 9-category breakdown — job title, years of experience, education, hard skills, credibility, location, word count, measurable results, and ATS keywords — with a projected score if you accept the suggestions.

• Tailored resume with tracked changes. Choose Low, Medium or High tailoring: Low only rephrases what's already on your resume, High reframes toward the target role. Employers, titles, dates and credentials are never fabricated.

• "Fix this" on every category — a click to strengthen a summary, weave in a keyword, or add a measurable result you supply yourself.

• Cover letter generator with tone and custom instructions.

• Interview prep — likely questions for the role with tips and sample answers.

• Job tracker synced with the web dashboard: saved, applied, interviewing, offer — with notes, favorites, and the tailored resume version attached to the job you applied to.

• Job Alerts (Pro) — watch a careers page or search URL and get new postings when they appear, filtered by role keywords and your custom criteria.

• Resume upload — PDF, DOCX, or TXT. Parsed into a structured resume you can edit.

• Works on major job boards and standalone company careers pages — job detection runs across the web on any posting that matches a job-page pattern.

PRIVACY

Your account and data live in a private space protected by row-level security. Job descriptions and resume text you tailor are sent to our hosted AI backend to generate results. We never sell your data or use it for anything unrelated to running the product. Full policy at https://www.jobtailor.app/privacy.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install and sign in (Google or email — no API key needed).
2. Add your resume once (upload or paste).
3. Open any job posting. The JobTailor side panel scores the fit and drafts a tailored version.
4. Accept the changes you like, download the resume, generate a cover letter, save the job to your tracker.

Made for job seekers who want to send stronger applications without spending an hour rewriting the same resume for every posting — and without an AI making things up on their behalf.
