   Karmageddon ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome extension that helps FACEIT players rate and remember teammates and opponents.
2. What Data We Handle (Local Storage Only)
   We do NOT collect or transmit any data. All data is created by you and stored only on your device.

The extension stores the following locally using Chrome's storage API:

FACEIT Player Information: Player nicknames and FACEIT player IDs (from FACEIT's public API)
Your Ratings: Numerical ratings (1-5 scale) you assign to players
Rating Tags: Descriptive tags you select for players (such as "Toxic", "Leader", "Clutch", etc.)
Your FACEIT Profile: Your FACEIT username and player ID (for identification)
Timestamps: When ratings were created or modified
Important: This data is created by you, stored only on your device, and never leaves your computer.

1. How We Use This Data
   All data remains locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API
   We do NOT collect any data
   We do NOT transmit any data to external servers
   We do NOT access your data remotely
   We do NOT share your data with anyone
   Data is used solely to display your ratings when you view FACEIT match rooms and player profiles
2. Data Storage and Security
   All data remains on your local device
   No remote servers or databases are used
   Data persists until you manually delete it or uninstall the extension
   Your data is never transmitted over the internet
   We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your data
3. Your Rights and Controls
   You have complete control over your data:

Export: You can export all your data at any time via the extension popup
Delete: You can delete individual ratings or all data at any time
Disable: You can disable the extension via the toggle in the popup
Uninstall: Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all stored data
6. Data Retention
Data is retained indefinitely on your device until you choose to delete it

We do not retain any data because we never receive it in the first place
7. Third-Party Services
This extension makes API calls to FACEIT's public API to retrieve player information (names, IDs) for display purposes only.

API calls are made directly from your browser to FACEIT's servers
We do NOT collect, proxy, or store any responses from FACEIT's API
We do NOT have access to any data from these API calls
The extension simply displays information that FACEIT already makes publicly available

   This extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

   We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
